Medical Malpractice, and/or Nursing Malpractice, is when a patient is injured as the result of a medical provider (doctor or hospital facility) who deviates from the standard of care for a patient in need of a specific treatment. In this case the injured party must prove that the doctor deviated from the standard of care and as a result significant injury occurred and the injured party suffered damages.
