Agricultural Litigation
Tennessee is blessed with a great
natural resource of having good farmland and quite
a bit of productive farming activity within our State.
However, from time to time there are problems which
involve the sale of diseased livestock, spraying herbicides
that cause damage to adjoining neighbors, and a variety
of other topics that fall under the topic of agricultural
litigation. Much of this is centered around breach
of contract for non-payment of cattle, swine, or problems
with grade A dairy with the milk company rejecting
a load of milk. Interstate shipment of livestock is
where the receiving party fails to pay or pays an
inadequate amount claiming some defect in the cattle
or other animals which is a type of lawsuit which
occurs.
